Is there a camera even seen?

To Find Out:

1. Go to: Apple menu
2. Select: About this Mac
3. Click: System Report... button
4. View: Hardware on left-column
5. Click: Camera
6. Confirm if a Camera is Even Seen

Try the Following:

A. Try Safe Mode:

Also, boot in Safe Mode (hold down the shift key, while booting up). Then, try this once more. While in Safe Mode, login items do not open at login, and certain preferences are set aside. So, boot into Safe Mode for 30 Seconds, and then restart.

B. Create a New User:

For troubleshooting purposes, try creating a new Administrator User, seeing if it then is seen. Once used, simply delete the user.

C. Reset the SMC and NVRAM:

Sometimes changes are made to the system and then settings (i.e. for WiFi) become manipulated, technically.  So, reset both on your Mac.
