Motivation complication not refreshing on Apple Watch 5

I have a complication enabled to show daily motivational quotes via app “Motivation” on my Apple Watch 5.

However after the recent upgrade to watchOS 7.6 and iOS14.7 on my iPhone 12 mini it’s complication stopped refreshing.

All the things like app background refresh, location services and others are incorrect order but complication does not refresh even when I tap it.

It only get refreshed when I restart my Apple Watch.

I am not sure why is that, do anybody have any idea or solution for this problem?

There is a new update for the app “Motivation”.

I reinstalled updated app on both watch and iPhone, later after restart complication worked perfectly 🙂

We understand from your post that after updating your iPhone and Apple Watch software a complication is not updating as it previously did. In a situation like this you may want to remove the complication and then add it back again. This article will provide information on removing complications and adding them back again:

I’m having exact same issue - have tried all the troubleshooting as well. It’s such a small thing - but the motivation complication is my fav part of my watch and now it’s just stuck:( hoping there’s a solution! :)
