I suspect a hack on my Mac

Please assist. i just noticed a message on my safari page that reads, "in the past 7 days, Safari has prevented 8 trackers from profiling you". is this cause for concern?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.4

No, the opposite. It's telling you it prevent tracking and profiling. That is a good thing.
