Series 2 Apple Watch

I have a series 2 Apple Watch that is connected to my ex boyfriends phone. I don’t know his Apple ID password to get into it and unpair it. The watch isn’t giving me the option to go to settings and erase all content, it’s just at the “choose language”. Is there anyway to hard reset it?

Activation Lock is designed to prevent anyone else from using your Apple Watch if it's ever lost or stolen.
