User wrote " I’m entering my password from apple it’s saying that is wrong. " Firstly - Apple Does not set you password for your Apple ID or password for the Computer. Passwords are created by the User ( you ) and nobody else.

If you have forgotten your Computer Password

M1 Computer

1 - Choose Apple menu > > Shut Down.

2 - Press and hold the power button on your Mac until you see “Loading startup options.”

3 - Click Options, then click Continue.

4 - Top Tool Bar >> Utilities >> Terminal

5 - Type resetpassword as one word and no spaces

6 - Press Return key

7 - Follow the prompts and remember the New Password

Once that is achieved - go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and log in and add your device to your account.

Hi there, agata1234,

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. We see your post about your MacBook has not gotten a response just yet. Providing additional information about what's going on may help others in the community get you to a solution! Try answering the following questions:

  1. Are you having trouble signing into the macOS user account (for example, the first log in screen that appears after starting the computer up)? OR,
  2. Are you trying to sign into your Apple ID to use iCloud?
  3. Do you know what macOS version is installed on the computer?

Best.

Thanks for following up, agata1234,

If you removed your MacBook Air from your iCloud account using your iPhone, this merely means you have signed out of iCloud. In this instance, the only thing that you should need to do is go into System Preferences and sign back into iCloud on the MacBook Air: Set up iCloud on your Mac - Apple Support.

If you have forgotten the password to your Apple ID account and that is preventing you from signing into iCloud, you can reset it using If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support.

You should not need to reinstall macOS or use macOS Recovery to reset your Apple ID password, or regain access to iCloud on your Mac. If you do want to reinstall macOS at any point, though, there are a couple of scenarios where a password may be requested. Could you please provide us with the exact message that appears in the password prompt? This will let us know what password it is asking for, and then how to address it.

Cheers!
