Can’t reinstall deleted app

Snapchat kept crashing when I tried to open it, so I figured uninstalling it and reinstalling it would be the easiest fix.

After uninstalling it, I went to try download it again from the App Store, but whenever I clicked the blue cloud with the arrow it would change briefly into a grey loading circle before going back to the blue cloud, so no matter what I do I can’t download Snapchat again.

I’ve tried to reinstall various apps I deleted before as well, and I’m having the same issue with them.

I’ve tried restarting my phone and logging out of the App Store and back in, to no avail.

iPhone XR, iOS 14

iTunes and The App Store are down. No one can download anything. Watch this for them to come back up again. Apple - Support - System Status

In the last few minutes there are at least 4 threads started by people saying they can't download Snapchat. Clearly there is an issue with the App. Wait and try again later or reach out to Snapchat directly for help with their app.

Hey did it ever let you reinstall the app because the same thing is happening to me as well.

I eventually managed to reinstall it and it seems to be working fine now.

Snapchat Support acknowledged the issue on Twitter so it sounds like they’ve fixed/are fixing it.

Okay cool Thankyou did you do something different or anything or just tried again later because it seems that now I can’t download any apps not just Snapchat now and I’ve tried everything.

It seems to be all the apps actually. I can’t install or reinstall any of the apps and I’ve tried everything the first person did too

I just kept trying and eventually it worked, didn’t do anything different. I did have the same issue with other apps, too.
