passcode change from another iphone

if i have forgotten my passcode can i change it from another iphone using my Apple id login details?

forgotten passcode I fixed my broken iphone screen but forgot the passcode as i havent used it in a couple months. I know my apple id and password and also have an ipad that is a trusted device, but it only runs ios 9. Is there a way i would be able to change my passcode for my iphone through my ipad or through icloud.com or appleid.com? I thought i used to be able to change it through my ipad in the past.

Sorry, no. the passcode exists only on the device, so unlike an Apple ID if you forget it there's no way to retrieve it. I'm afraid your only option is to erase the phone. Please see If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
