Watch faces

I just bought a brand new apple watch Series 6. In my old apple watch, I just swiped left or right to change the watch face. And, although that is what the directions say, when I swipe left or right, I get nothing.

Touch and hold on the watch face and tap edit then swipe left and right to choose your watch face and tap on the one you want.

I cannot change watch face on my series 7 I know this watch just came out. Just wondering if anyone has a problem changing the watch face. It won’t allow me to.
