Disabled iPhone: Do I need to change my phone number?

I received a message on my iPhone screen last night: "iPhone disabled, connect to Tunes." I could not do that. I talked to an advisor on the phone, went into Apple Store twice but we have been unable to fix the problem. Do I need to change my phone number?

Changing your phone number is not going to make a difference. If you went to the Apple Store, what did they tell you there? A disabled iPhone can be restored using the instructions here, If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support, however people at the Apple Store should have known that. Did they tell you something besides it not being able to fix it?

This morning I discovered that not only is my iPhone still disabled, my iMac cannot access the internet and the home screen just shows my emoji but the mouse doesn't work so I can't click on it to go online. I can use my old MacBook so far. I thought I wrote down my Apple passwords but evidently I have everything except. I'm guessing another phone call and store visit

Thanks again for your help Chris.
