New iPad is now locked… guess I forgot passcode

Got new iPad….worked on it ok…. Powered down….can’t log back in as I guess the passcode I had is wrong…now locked out

You will need to reset your passcode. You will need a computer to complete this task. You can reset your passcode by following the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ How to reset your passcode on a disabled iPad All your data on your iPad will be wiped clean in the process.
