I lost my AirPods' receipt but I have the original box. can I ask for free repair?

Hi, I bought a pair of AirPods at Target a few months ago. Now it doesn't work. I could not find the receipt but I still keep the original box. Can I still get the free repair service? Thank you

Hello Graciemo,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with your AirPods. Without your receipt, service may be difficult, but there's no way anyone here could be sure of that, as there are many factors involved.

If you would like to describe the problem or what damage occurred, we may be able to offer more info or troubleshooting.

Otherwise, you may want to ask the Target where it was purchased if they can provide a copy of the receipt.

You can also contact contact Apple Support to check your serial number and warranty status: Contact - Official Apple Support

Cheers.
