mac book pro security against thief

Hello I would like to know if Mac book pro computer is protected against thief? Because someone steal my computer. i m from france so excuse me for spelling mistake.

Unfortunately there really is no way to protect the computer from theft. There are some third party applications available that may help you locate the computer if it is connected to the internet but those would already have to be installed on the MacBook Pro before it was stolen. Apple does not have a flagging policy & procedure in place so you are best just to report it to local authorities.

Protected? What do you mean by that? It isn't clear if your machine was recently stolen or you're just asking in case it is stolen in the future. Please compose your question in French and then use Google Translate at http://translate.google.com/ to translate to English. That's what I did to go from English to French.

Protégé? Qu'entendez-vous par là? Il n'est pas clair si votre machine a été récemment volés ou vous demandons juste au cas où il est volé dans l'avenir. S'il vous plaît composer votre question en français et ensuite utiliser Google Translate à http://translate.google.com/ de traduire vers l'anglais. C'est ce que j'ai fait pour passer de l'anglais au français.
