mac book pro security against thief

Unfortunately there really is no way to protect the computer from theft. There are some third party applications available that may help you locate the computer if it is connected to the internet but those would already have to be installed on the MacBook Pro before it was stolen. Apple does not have a flagging policy & procedure in place so you are best just to report it to local authorities.

Protected? What do you mean by that? It isn't clear if your machine was recently stolen or you're just asking in case it is stolen in the future. Please compose your question in French and then use Google Translate at http://translate.google.com/ to translate to English. That's what I did to go from English to French.

Omg that *****! Did you report it to the police to see if they can possibly do anything about it? You could always try LoJack in the future and get one of those locks to put in the security slot.
