Apple watch pairing

I unpaired my watch from my phone and my phone says it is disconnected but my watch says it is still connected to the phone. I tried to re-pair it with my phone but it says that it is already paired and now I can't get to pair up again and since the watch says it is still paired I can't properly reset it

apple watch not paired? So, my watch says "too many passcode attempts, reset apple watch and pair again" so i followed the instructions, reset it, then unpaired it and now, my phone is showing it as unpaired but the watch still says too many attempts, pair again. I have no way of pairing it again. I have already tried resetting it by holding down on the side button and wasn't able to reset it that way. Thanks in advance!

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.
