Battery Health

i purchased my iPhone on 28th May and it has just been 2 months and my battery health is down to 94%. This is not how fast the battery drops.

Total cycle used till than was 48. If the battery will go down like this than in one year even if I will not used 500 cycle but still I will have to pay for new battery. My concern here is, if everything is fine than why battery health is dropping and if continues like this than I will have to pay for new battery even though I will not consume the battery. Who will wear this coat ? Drop in battery health causes drop in iPhone performance. Why should experience that when I have paid for best ?

It's not. Batteries degrade based on use, condition, environment, and other factors.

A normal battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles when operating under normal conditions. The one-year warranty includes service coverage for a defective battery. If it is out of warranty, Apple offers battery service for a charge. Learn more about charge cycles.

Set your device to optimize charging (settings > battery).

Leave it plugged in to charge overnight.

There isn't anything else to do. Use your phone as you normally would. The onboard software will recognize your usage pattern over time and adjust charging accordingly to help to maximize your battery life.

So its not bad if i leave it ovenight in charge bc many others are telling me that is bad

That’s because of the poor experiences with non-Apple devices (such as Samsung’s older phones, at least: Samsung even went so far as to blame their customers!).

Any decent system will regulate its battery charging, such as the way Apple does so.
