Apple Watch series 6 tattoo support

Is there any way to fix the issue of the Apple Watch constantly locking if you have tattoos. This seems like an issue that should have been addressed immediately after the first model. If wrist detection could be turned off and only require the passcode for Apple Pay, this problem would be fixed.

Permanent or temporary changes to your skin, such as some tattoos, can also impact heart rate sensor performance. The ink, pattern and saturation of some tattoos can block light from the sensor, making it difficult to get reliable readings.
