New iPhone setup is asking for a passcode that doesn't exist. Need access back for Keychain on all devices

I purchased a new iPhone 12 Max Pro yesterday and now I can't access my keychain on any of my devices. My phone keeps asking for a passcode from "other iPhone" which isn't working. Please help as I will lose all my passwords on all my apple devices!

Hi there S-Ophones,

We understand that you are trying to use your Apple ID on your new iPhone. We’d like to help however we can.

It sounds like you have two-factor authentication enabled on your Apple ID.

Two-factor authentication for Apple ID

If so, then you would need to know the passcode used to unlock your previous iPhone in order to sign in to your Apple ID on your new iPhone. If you forgot the passcode, follow the steps here:

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled

If you need further assistance after looking over those articles, then we would recommend contacting our Apple ID Support to get the best assistance going forward.

Cheers!
