Why would my iPhone 12 Pro Max already have 99 percent battery life
My phone is only months old and is showing 99% battery life. Why?

The support article you came here from should provide you with what you can expect around an iPhone battery performance. Apple does not consider an iPhone battery requires replacement unless it cannot maintain, at least, an 80% charge after 500 full recharging cycles. There should not be anything wrong with your iPhone's battery. Just be sure to update it to the very latest version of iOS.
