When I am done using CarPlay is there something I need to do before pulling usb cable? Do I need to exit car play before pulling cable. I don’t want to damage system

This is a great question and there is no clear answer. This means that you can pull the cable, whenever you want to, to end the CarPlay session. Pulling the cable always sounds so drastic and it probably is. I, therefore, recommend that turn off your car and then disconnect the cable from your iPhone. Of course, this may not always be possible. Bottom line, is that I do not believe that there is a clear written instruction to end CarPlay.
