Hi, my macbook 17 inch encountered that common gpu issue and it doesn't boot into the OS and grey screen appears. So i wanted to ask if deleting the graphic drivers work without taking it to apple service center for hardware repair?
Note: SIP would be disabled using single usermode and also DiskUtility won't be accessed because of grey screen.
It may work, the way to tell is if will Safe Boot & show the screen, that doesn't load the graphic drivers.
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.
@BDAqua without single usermode and Hardware testing window, nothing else work and grey screen appears
Well if it doesn't work in Safe mode or single user, then removing drivers wont help.
