i forgot my Apple ID password, no longer use the phone number provided and my email is the same password as my Apple ID one LOL but I saw that you can put your credit card info to recover Apple ID if I Had Apple Pay. I tried to do it on iforgot.appleID but it wouldn’t let me. Any tips ?

The option you mention of entering in credit card info for the payment method associated with Apple Pay is only available for accounts with two-factor authentication enabled and when a formal request for account recovery has been made. Info here:
