How do I remove the magsafe power cable from new iMac 24"?

I also use the MacBook Pro 13" (Retina display, early 2015) which has a MagSafe charger. I am able to remove its power cable easily. However, with the new iMac 24", I am unable to remove its power cable from the Mac. Please help.

Grab the connector and pull. It is a bit tight, and a bit awkward because of the base, but it comes out. As always, I suggest you pull by the connector and not the cable.

I just moved my computer the other day and had to pull it out. It was harder getting it back in. 8^)
