So I have IMessage turned on and today I noticed that half of the people I communicate with via IMessage suddenly turned to SMS. The other half stayed blue. I checked my settings and IMessage is on and I am definitely connected to the internet. I trying turning IMessage off and then back on but it still won’t work. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

If it's only certain contacts then it should be on their end since you are able to use iMessage with some of your contacts. If your device/account was the problem I would expect all of your contacts to be set to SMS.
Maybe, but I don’t really think so bc around 10 contacts turned green this morning
