CEC Interference

I have the same issue with my sonos Beam not wanting to connect via ARC as even my new 2021 4k apple Tv is interfering with the connection! I don't know how to get around this! Would a CEC blocking hdmi socket work? The sonos will only work over airplay which is pointless as i have minimum control over all possible features! Any advice is welcome…

It was working perfectly before the update which makes me think the tvOS update has broken Airplay. Apple TV booting Sonos off Airplay Hi all, Seeking some advice. We have flawlessly used Airplay via Apple TV to Sonos One for some time now, but in the last fortnight, it's stopped working. I've spoken with Sonos and ruled everything out from the speaker set-up, Sonos still plays from my iPhone and MacBook without issue so it's only Apple TV that is the problem. I've re-set, re-checked and done everything I can think of and read of, still no love. Our internet set up or house set up has not changed. It just stopped working suddenly. Does anyone have any idea what could be happening? Airplay on Apple TV can see Sonos but when I select the speakers or even one single speaker it allows me to check the box, then reverts back to the TV speakers. Help is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Samsung TV 4K UHD (A7000U) Apple TV Problem Hi everyone I’m in a bit of a pickle here. I have a Samsung UHD 4K 55” inch TV (AU700) 2021 model and I’ve recently bought myself the latest Apple TV 4K Wi-Fi model. The problem: My tv supports native HDR10+ and 4K, however whenever I play content it loses its connection and the tv tells me check HDMI connection. Before it does the whole blue screen of death and disappointment. It first glitches black and then a little annoying circle appears. It than loses its connection and I have to switch off the tv and on again. It specifically does this with YouTube most of the time but Disney plus and and Netflix is in it too. Any solutions that I might be able to use to fix it from doing this all the time ?

Sonos Beam connects to your TV’s HDMI-ARC port.

Apple TV →[HDMI]→ TV →[HDMI ARC]→ Sonos Beam

Set to Apple TV to use ‘TV speakers’, then the TV can passthrough the audio to the Sonos. Depending on your TV, this may be automatic or may need configuration on the TV.

What do mean with “CEC interference”?
