orange dot not appearing when i call someone

when i call/ use the microphone on various communication apps the orange dot doesn’t show and the call fails mostly on facetime audio calls even when i double check that the microphone is on from settings . But when i call on my iphone it works. Is that an issue with my ipad? P.S i bought my ipad about a year ago version 2020.

Microphone on iPad works except FaceTime ? Tested microphone on other applications.the microphone works.people can not hear me on FaceTime.

iPhone XS Max microphone not working in phone calls Hello I have an iPhone XS Max with iOS 15.6. On an intermittent basis my microphone is not working in phone calls.
