do not have original owner to reset my ipad

im no longer in contact with the person who set up my Ipad Mini for me and it wants their info to reset. is there anything else i can do to rest my Ipad?

No. Only the original owner can remove the activation lock. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201441
