New WiFi router box

We recently had a new router for our WiFi ( controls all WiFi , Roku etc ) in our home. New id and password off of new box.

now under settings I get a “weak security “ message. We live in rural area , not too populated . Should I be concerned?

The weak security message means that the security settings on your new router are not set to WPA2 AES or WPA 3.

The default, even on new routers is for weaker security options. Personally, I wouldn't be very concerned but I would still recommend changing it (and I did change my new router recently). If you don't have instructions for the new router, do an internet search for that router brand and model
