AirPods — hard plastic shell case stuck

I have a hard plastic case for my AirPods and it’s stuck on the actual AirPods and won’t budge, does anyone know how I can either remove the plastic case or break it???

airpods stuck in super thick case i recently got the taylor swift evermore airpods case, and i really just can’t get it back off 😭 the top part comes off super easily but the bottom won’t budge. i feel like i’m out of options as i’ve tried everything youtube/tiktok is suggesting. is there anything i can do besides the charger trick?
