I can’t open PDF file on mail or WhatsApp it used to open automatically and after last IOS update it doesn’t work even if I save it to files and try to open it

i am having the exact same problem since last week .....

open pdf in outlook app has no problem

open pdf in whats app and apple mail app show it is "data" and cannot open automatically.

tried latest software update, restart, removing app like alibaba etc .. all don't work ...

I have exactly the same problem. Since weeks ago till now still can’t do anything about it.

Thanks for providing those details. Does this behavior persist with all PDFs or just one specific file? See if you're able to open the PDF on another device. If it doesn't open on other devices, the issue is specific to that PDF.
