How to uninstall QuickTime player on my Mac

i was viewing a video on my Mac Pro today using QuickTime after that the system started behaving very erratically. Mouse stopped working, windows got attached to the mouse pointer snd would move around without getting released, system preferences was not getting enabled, I was running excel on one window snd google forms on the other both started rolling without any control. I had to reboot my system three times. I’m running macOS Big Sur 11.2.3, upgrade to the latest also failed miserably

Quicktime is part of the OS and not the cause of your problems. You can't uninstall it, anyway, and that is a good thing.

Now to address the problems we need to know more in order to try and figure out what is happening.

Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.
