deleting birthdays from calendar

deleting birthdays from calendar

I have several random birthdays that are allegedly attached to CONTACTS. However, when I go to the contact, their birthday is not in their card. I continue to get message that only the administrator can edit the calendar. I am the administrator. I've gone to the Contact, all my calendars and am still unable to delete this random birthdays.

Any help would be appreciated, as this is an extremely frustrating situation. I don't want to hide all birthdays, just want to delete certain ones.

These notifications occur on all my devices.

Remove a field Delete the information in the field, or click the Remove button , open contact and click on edit .

Publish or unpublish calendars on Mac - Apple Support

Unpublished calendars aren’t deleted from your Mac.

It's the administrator who shared the calendar can unsubscribe , they have granted only read permissions , you can't edit the event or delete it .

Thank you for your help. However, the answer did not solve the issue. My calendar is not a shared calendar. These birthdays do not appear in their contact cards. I have resolved to simply turn off the contact calendar and manually enter into contacts the birthdays I want to see.

the birthdays do not appear in their contact cards. I continue to receive the message that only the calendar admin can delete. I've updated all my information on all my devices.

PS Its not a birthday with the gift box next to it. Its allegedly a birthday that is connected to contacts - however, as previously stated, their birthday does not appear in their contact card
