Some Thoughts:
Is this a used device? Or did you purchases it from Apple? Or is it a company-owned device that you lease for use? If it is a used device, then contact the seller, requesting a return. If it was purchased at Apple, then maybe Apple never disassociated it from this company, given it is a returned item. If it is company-owned, then take that up with their technical department.
