Nike Watches vs Series 6

Is there something special to only the Nike edition apple watches, that cannot be installed as an additional app on regular watches? Meaning...if I buy a series 6 gold watch, can I basically turn it into a Nike version by downloading the Nike run app?

Nike watches have a couple of exclusive watch faces,a nike watch band and the nike logo on the screen in various places,that is the only difference between nike and a regular watch.

You can download the NRC and run it just fine on a none nike watch.
