Wallet app unresponsive/crashes

I am on an iPhone X and whenever I click the wallet app, it goes black and crashes back to Home Screen. I’ve literally tried everything. I even factory reset my phone and it still does the same crash. Any fix for this?

It sounds like you are experiencing issues using your Wallet app. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.


You have done some great troubleshooting steps so far. When you restored your device, did you set up as new or restore from a backup?

If the issue persist, can you provide a few more details? When did you first notice this? Which iOS version do you currently have installed? Also, is the wallet app the only app that is experiencing this?

Hello! When I restored, I believe I reset to factory then used a backup I made before I did it via iTunes. I have already tried resetting to factory settings as well. I noticed it this week on Monday when I signed up for the Apple Card and could not continue to add it into my wallet. I currently have the latest version of iOS. And yes, wallet is the only app that does this, everything else seems to be working.
