Cursor lag/delay when opening programs

Hello,

I installed Windows 10 bootcamp on my 2020 Macbook Air a week ago. Since then, the cursor seems to be delayed / lags when a program is opening or something else intense is being handled by the computer.

I feel like changing priorities in task manager could fix this but I'm not sure which program is responsible for mouse movement.

I'm using the macbook's built-in trackpad, and this was happening ever since windows was installed, no other software.

Can you run Apple Software Update (How to use Apple Software Update for Windows - Apple Support) and check for any pending updates? Do not apply updates unless you have created a Windows System Restore point first.
Do you have any unknown/other devices in Windows Device Manager?

I will assume that you have an Intel Mac and not an Apple Silicon Mac running Parallels/Windows.
