Bought a Siri Remote and it come with 40% charge on it .

Had real trouble turning it on . Tried for 20 min .

Then left it to power for approx 15 - 20 approx min then managed to turn it on and it turns out it then had 40% charge in it then

Are the Siri remotes 2nd Gen supposed to come with no charge at all or with a very partial charge or fully charged.

Devices should be half-charged when stored long term, to preserve battery life. That is likely also applied to new devices, as the time between leaving the factory and customer use, is unknown.
