Wifes User account on imac 'mirroring' mine

Hi recently my mac started to share everything on my user account to my wifes account on same device. If i as much load a photo to my desktop it appears on my wifes user account. I have looked at file sharing etc. to no avail and am at a loss as to what to do? I am running High Sierra 10.13.6

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

From the iPad, I created a Shared Album of my library to share with my wife, who has a newer MacBook Air with Ventura. Now, I can't see any photos on my MacBook! Any idea how I can get them back?

What all is checked in Sys Prefs>iCloud?

Hi thank you for your reply, I know it sounds stupid but when you say 'checked' should the tick boxes be ticked/un ticked?
