Email photos as attachment

Hello,

New to iphone. I just noticed that whenever I send photos via email they are embedded in the text. I would like to send them as attachments instead.

I have tried attaching a random PDF file along with the photos but it didn't work. It attached the PDF and inserted the photos.

Any update on a possible fix by chance? It seems to be a running issue since version 14.2 based on some reading. I was hoping the issue had been resolved by now given then fact that I am running SW 14.7.1
