I have iPhone 8 plus, Its mic works during phone calls, Facetime, and Siri, but it doesn't work with any of the apps, voice recorder, Snapchat, Whatsapp, hangouts, or any other apps, tried permissions in settings and reset all settings, software updates but didn't work.

Thanks for following up with us, and confirming that the microphone isn't working when using the native Voice Memos app. You mentioned that you're able to place phone calls, and FaceTime calls without issue. There are multiple microphones on the iPhone that are used for different features. To clarify, does the microphone work when making a FaceTime audio call, as well as cellular calls using the iPhone receiver?

Yes, Mic doesn't work with the built-in "Voice Memos App".
I have made IOS software updates, reinstalled all apps, and installed some new apps as well but none of them could use mic. I have got mic hardware changed as well but it also didn't solve the problem.
Yes, Facetime Audio and Voice calls work on the phone receiver, on Facetime video call mic doesn't work. I think this is the phone's motherboard's fault.
