I want to recover lost files and photos from icloud, they aren't in recently deleted and restore files

If you unchecked iCloud Drive on your computer it sounds to me like you gave it permission.

Note that photos are managed in a separate part of iCloud and are handled using the Photos app.

I wrote an email to a friend and hit "send". The email disappeared along with a couple hundred old emails. I'm left with emails from years ago and emails from last week, and a gap in between. This was a week ago. How do I recover the missing emails from Feb 2021 up to last week?

I have the same issue, I deleted some Videos and Photos from iCloud and they're no longer showing up in the deleted files section. They're very important photos I can't get back , so I was wondering if there is ANY way to recover them even if I have to pay apple a fee to have it done.

Anything that you delete should remain in your recently deleted album for up to 30 days. After that time, it is deleted forever. If you cannot find your images, it may be more than 30 days, or you may have inadvertently deleted them from the recently deleted album. In which case, there is no way to remove the images (except from a backup of your device made to a computer or a time machine backup of your Mac).

If you simply turned off iCloud Drive, your files will remain in iCloud.
