battery bulge

i have noticed that my macbook pro battery was bulged and not be able to close. already middle of part uneven.

Battery issue swelling My macbookpro case will not close it leaves a 1/8" gap. I was told that the battery may need changing. Is it dangerous to leave as is?

The computer needs to be inspected by an authorized service center. You can use the "Get Support" link located at the top right of this page.
