Question

Undeliverable emails message.

When I send emails to my distribution list, I get a message from Postmaster at Outlook stating that the message couldn’t be delivered to a particular address, but this address is not in my list or in my contacts.

A person I know has exactly the same issue with the same message and same unknown address.

Our email lists are different but have a few people in common.

I use a Mac and Sky Yahoo mail.

Should I be getting messages from Outlook as I don’t use it? Is this spam or phishing? Odd that we should both get this same message.

Any help will be appreciated.

I have run a full virus scan as a precaution.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Since the issue is occurring on the website directly, we'd recommend reaching out to their support next to see if there is an issue with their servers.

Yes I do. I sent an email out to the group last night and 24 hours later I get the same message.

The other person who gets this message has set up his distribution again from scratch but is still getting the message.

I send the emails on sky mail which uses Yahoo. I send them using my desktop mac (not my ipad or iPhone), use Safari, go to sky.com and log into emails from there.

I am sorry but I am not sure what you mean by webmail.

Thanks. However the other person doesn’t use sky for his email, he uses btinternet.

We are both wondering if the issue could be something to do with one of the people who appear on both of our lists?

I have posted the problem on Sky Community Forums - no useful replies. It really is a strange problem.

Yes, that would be a good next step to narrow down exactly which contact is giving the error message.

It could be an issue with their email specifically that cannot receive mail for various reasons.
