Potential Phishing email

Just received an email to contact Apple Support that iCloud a/c had "suspicious" fraudulent activity. They wanted me to call them. Is this ligit?

It is a scam. If there was a problem you would be notified when attempting to log in, including when logging into this forum. Also see: Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support
