Is it possible to join a network once you’ve chosen to “Forget” it?
Yes. Next time you are within that Wi-Fi Network's reach then open Settings ➔ Wi-Fi : You should see that Wi-Fi Network listed and then you can tap on it and enter the password again. That will connect you to that network and the password will be saved for next time.
FYI - Forgetting a Network simply removes its password and settings which prevents our device to connect to it automatically.

Restore from a Backup:
Have a recent backup of your iPhone? If you are not concerned with losing data, then restore your iPhone from a backup that was made when you had this network. Prior to restoring, backup your iPhone, incase anything goes wrong with the restoration.

Note that passwords are only saved with an encrypted back up.
This answer did not work. I never received a place to put in a password.
Yes and yes. The page that comes up when you’re connected. No option to sign in. But I was not connected. I’m not now within range of that network so I can’t tell you exactly what was at top or the page.
Did you open wi-fi and see the network that you forgot? Did you tap on the network to try and connect? What happened when you did that?
Okay, you will have to wait until you are in range of the network again you will have to try it.
The next time I was in range of other network, when I opened my phone, it automatically asked for the password. So I guess it fixed itself!
Thanks for your help.
Carol
Glad you were able to clear it up.
