i erased my mac and i am not able to start it

i connect to my wifi then it loads for a good while and the globe with an alert symbol shows up. ive tried a couple times and the same thing keeps happening. ive also followed the steps on apple support and nothing has worked. what can i do to log back i to my mac?

If you "erased the mac" then you need to re-install some supported macOS to it either via Internet recovery or via a bootable flash installer.

If those fail, maybe the internal disk has gone bad or some other hardware failure. Try to reset SMC and PRAM.

Connect via Ethernet Cable to Router much faster and reliable.


Why was the drive erased without a Recovery Plan in-place


Do I have a Rescue Plan In-Place. This comprises having 3 Backups using 2 methods and 1 Off Site incase of Theft, Loss or Natural Disasters. A Time Machine Backup  is very useful and can be used to Revert to Previous Working macOS. For addition purposes - two Tested Bootable Clones each to separate external drives. This is insurance incase the upgrades goes sideways. At least one Tested Clone and / or Time Machine Backup should be Off - Site
