So I want to update my apps and get new ones but I do not have enough storage since I only have 64GB and I was looking at how to get more but all that was coming up was the iCloud. I was wondering if iCloud will allow me to get more apps that take up a lot of storage.

Saving space with apps will depend upon how frequently you use them and the nuisance of having to redownload some. So whether or not this will help depends upon what you mean by "apps that take up a lot of storage."
