is it possible to use my Apple Watch series 3 to pauze and play my Ipad Pro playing Youtube? Thank you for reading this!

I find that difficult. Apple is known for it’s compatibility between Apple products but won’t let you control things you stream on your Ipad using an Apple Watch. Is Apple trying to get this done or will it never be possible? Geetings!
