Beats Solo3 Not Charging but appearing as if Charging

Hi, recently my beats solo3 have not been charging. I’ve used the original beats cable which is in peak condition. So basically the first light comes on and flashes as if it’s charging but when I take it off it doesn’t work as the battery is low, therefore the red light flashes. This is weird bc it has been charging for several hours now. I’m worried if I do more it may ruin them. I’d appreciate any help, thx.
