ipad set up

Trying to transfer data from my iphone 11 to an ipad A 1475 and I get this message. ios setting of iphone (14.4.4) is not compatible with ios setting of ipad (12.5.4). Now what?

It sounds like you are trying to use Quickstart. You cannot transfer settings from a device running a newer OS to one running an older one. The other way is okay. You will have to transfer individual groups of data such as Contacts, Photos, etc., by using iCloud syncing.
