Gift Card redeemed, but not added

I sent myself a $25 Apple Gift Card to test it out. Received it on my work email address, and then redeemed it on my personal account, since that's what I actually use.


But the amount hasn't been added to my account. What can I do about this?

Click on this link to 'Check your Apple ID balance' --> https://support.apple.com/HT202359

- If you think that your Apple ID balance is incorrect, sign out of the App Store or iTunes Store, then sign back in and check the balance again. If you still think that the balance is incorrect, check your purchase history to see if a subscription renewed or you bought an item.

Also realize that despite this being the age of speedy computers, transactions may take a finite amount of time to process. Even within the Apple system a transaction may take up to 48 hours to clear ( https://support.apple.com/HT204084 ).
