Recently my phone started silencing incoming calls that are not listed in my contact list they don’t come in I know it is an actual phone number like from the medical office it auto silences anyone know why? Also if a message is left it takes along time for me to recieve the message that was left sometimes 8 hours ?

As to your silenced calls situation go to Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers and turn it Off.
If a message is left and you don't see it for 8 hours that is a problem with your cell service provider, contact them.
